Sculptures were used to represent gods. Greeks made sculptures of people. Christians made sculptures of bad demons to remind them to do good. This would help people who could not read. Sculptures of Bible heroes can be found on the streets of Italy. People make sculptures to honor soldiers. They also use sculpting for spiritual support. Sculptures can be used for summoning nature forces and worshiping spirits. Priest and medical people sculpted masks to call good spirits and get rid of evil ones.
