Slide Notes
Home is where I belong, its the place where you belong. Having a home for a long period of time means something to because you have live there for a while. There are great memories of you living in the house for a long period of time, so it's just hard to forget them. Then it comes to that day when you have to move. When that day comes you want to spend the rest of the day looking back at all of the things that you did in the house before it is time leave. Then you arrive at the new house, and you have to recreate new memories at the new house. Then the hard thing is after moving into the new house is getting used to the house by exploring it seeing what new things are in the house. At first you feel sad about leaving the house, but wants you get used to the new house you start to think this maybe a new house, but I will always remember my old house. When moving too it's hard because you have to make alot of new friends. You then have to go to a new school, and it can be totally different from your other school because. It's not like your old school. Everything at that school changes. It doesn't feel the same. You don't know anyone there. You feel all alone inside. At the end of the day at a new school after moving you feel happy because. You like you new school. You made new friends. You had a good day. You are beginning to like the new house even though you miss your old house.

Name
"In English my name means hope."Pg.10
Names mean everything to a person, it tells you alot about a person just by hearing there name, and what they are a like. Sometimes hearing a person's name makes you think of what type of person you are. Some people though don't like there names because it sounds weird or stupid. Some people's name though mean alot of good things it's just that some people don't know what they are. People do things also to get their names noticed like famous people for example alot of people know alot about famous people just by hearing there name. People do crazy and dumb things too to get there names noticed too. Having a reputation too can get your name noticed too if you are not doing anything stupid to get made fun of, or laughed at. Also though there are some people who have horrible names who want to change them because they sound better. Like I know it's alot people out there with different names which mean alot of different things. Some people's names are important to them because they mean alot to them. Like for example famous people have alot of things to do because. Of there reputations the have. Who they are in life. What they do to become famous. Most of all what that they do to help people. To me having a name that is great, and famous is great but don't lose site of. Who you really are. What you do in life. What you stand for. What you accomplish in life. Most of all why you do it.

A Good Day
"If you give me five dollars I will be your friend forever." Pg.14
Having a good day is fine, but having the best day ever sounds more of a good day. Having a good day to me means is there is no problems at home, school, or anything. Which means no bad things are happening to day which makes you feel fine about the day at all. Which then also means everything is going your way for that day then it happens. You are having a good day, or best day ever then something happens to you that day. Things go wrong around you that whole day things that you cannot take control of. Like you are sitting there having fun with your day then someone tells, or brings bad news to you. Your whole day becomes ruin then it's not the best day ever it becomes the worst day ever. It happens everywhere even it school everything is going great then the bad news happens. It's even when you have a bad grade in the class, or you are not going to pass the class at all. A good day to me can always turn into a bad day when. Nothing goes right with your day. You always have something to do. Somebody decides to bother you when you are having a good day. Being a teenager though means having a good day really means it turns into a bad day because. You get in trouble for not doing stuff. Not doing your chores. Not turning in your homework. Not doing, so well in class. Coming to a conclusion you can have a good day. As long as you make sure you don't have to do anything that day.

Cousins
"Louie's girl cousin is older than us." Pg.23
Sometimes people don't care about there family, but to me family means everything to you. Cousins sometimes are the best family to have because you talk to them, and everything unless you don't like them which is not the case. I have, so many cousins that I honestly have no idea I actually have. I do then meet cousins that I haven't even seen before, of a while because they live far away. A way to connect with cousins is to what you, and them like to do. What I do it depends if I want to talk to some of my cousins, or not is because some of my cousins, and I have nothing in common. The ones I do talk with we normally play video games, and just chill. Then it's that time of the year when you have a Family Reunion. It's when all of your family come together for a huge cookout to see each other, and to see how everyone else is doing. To me sometimes the Family Reunion is boring to me because. All you do is sit there, eat, and talk to family when you can sit at home, and do that while calling them.

Name Calling
"Who's stupid?" Pg.38
Name calling is a thing that happens everywhere, but it mostly happens to you at school. It happens to you when you do something embarassing, or doing something stupid. It depends on if you do it alot, or not, but wants you start getting made of fun of it begins that day. Alot of people start to get made fun of is because. The clothes that you wear to school. The people you choose to hang out with. The way you talk. The way you do anything that people can make fun of you for doing. Mostly name calling happens to people in every grade level because it happens. When it happens most people are scared to tell anyone because. Name calling affects peoples life everywhere and they are telling you a lie because. Everyone has been bullied before in there life by someone. Basically bulling is the same thing as name calling it's just called different. What I'm saying is no one wants to get made fun of, or anything is because. They don't deserve it. It's not the right. What's the point in doing it. If you don't know them why are you doing it. Are you doing it because you are getting bullied yourself. To me if you make fun of someone you do it because. You are bored. You have nothing else to do. You just feel like doing it. You have no respect for anyone.

Shoes
"Do you like these shoes?" Pg.41
People everywhere are always talking about shoes because people at school, or out of school normally see you new shoes, and say. Man where does this dude get his shoes those are the best shoes I have seen before I got to get a new pair, or. What in the world is this dude doing you know those shoes have been out for a while why is he just getting those, or. This dude is wearing fake shoes, and don't even know it he must be stupid not to see that those shoes are fake. Having shoes is great, and everything, but when you just about to get shoes you have to make sure that the shoes are not fake, and everything. There is a easy way to tell if the shoes are fake, or not, and it's to. Look a design on the shoe, and see if it is messed up, or not. Because wearing fake shoes to school will get you laughed at, and made fun of for the rest of the day. Looking at the design of the shoes shows you if the shoes are fake, or not. It then comes to when or whenever it's time to pick new shoes, but also make sure that they are not fake. Shoes mean everything to a person because. You pay a lot of money for them. You spent time looking for them. You wanted those shoes, so bad. You have wanted them ever since Christmas. You can't wait to get them. To me getting shoes is good, but not fakes ones because. They are all messed up. They don't look right. They have nothing like design. They have the shoes all messed up.

CelEbration
"I open up and she's there with bags,big boxes, and new clothes." Pg.46
Celebrations to me are just like times of the year where people celebrate because something good happened to them, or just, so because they want to celebrate. Like for example New Years Eve is the time where alot of people celebrate because of the upcoming year. Sometimes it depends on if my mom wants to celebrate New Year Eve that way if we do we can get all of the food, and things that we need. It's alot of other celebrations people celebrate to like Independence Day, or for short the fourth of July. The fourth of July is the day is a federal holiday that's the adoption for Declaration of Independence that was written in 1776. There is alot of other celebrations people celebrate in different countries. Like Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday that Mexican people celebrate. Before celebrating you have to have everything you need. First you need alot of food depending on how many people is coming to the party. Second you need forks,knifes, and spoons depending on what kind of food you are eating. Last, but not least bread for hamburgers, and hotdogs.

Jobs
"It wasn't as if I didn't want to work. I did." Pg.53
Jobs are the most important thing to have in life is because. You have your own money. You don't have to ask anyone to borrow, or loan anyone money. You have money to pay your bills. Having a job early is good to have because that way you don't struggle trying to look for one. Having a good job though that pays alot money though is really what you are looking for, but that's hard because. You have to have a relative who works at a really great job in order to get a job. Jobs do require a skill to have which means. Alot of jobs require the right skill to get a good job. Getting a job isn't easy because you have to look in the newspaper, or ask somebody who's working at a job where you want to work at. Like working at important jobs you need to be on time everyday because. You don't want to get fired. You don't want to get in trouble. You don't want to get to the job late everyday. You don't want to get payed that week. Being a person with a great job means. A lot of money for the house. A lot of money to pay bills. A lot of money to pay rent. A lot of money to pay a car payment.

Bad
"Most likely I will go to hell and most likely I deserve to be there."Pg.58
People around today do what they want too, and think they are cool. They really think they are the baddest people on the planet, but what they really are doing is. Smoking cigarettes, or getting cigarettes from other people. Drinking beer or getting it from other people. Stealing things from the store too. The reason why they are doing is because they want to be apart of the cool crowd because. Of the people they hang around with because. They don't want there friends to see them acting scared, or afraid. Then the people think of what they have done some of them want to change, but some don't because. They have been doing it for, so long they can't stop. They don't want to lose there friends the hang around with. People I see around at school say they don't do drugs, but I know they do because. They look like they do it. They do it to be cool. They do them to have friends. They do them because they want too. They do them because they can, and won't get in trouble. I hate when people say they are going to stop, but they can't stop because. It's a addiction to them. They love doing them. They just can't stop.

No Name

A lot of people in the world most likely have names, but some people might not because. They really just don't like there name. They feel like they are a nobody. They don't feel like telling people there name, or. They don't know there name. Why I say that is because. Some people could have gotten left behind by there parents, or. There parents have died, and no one wants to look after them. Other reasons are too is that. They have lost, so much hope in the world that they. Don't want to have a name. A lot of people I know don't like to give there name because. They are shy. They are nervous. They just don't tell people because they don't want too. I know a lot of people who they don't tell there name too because they. They don't want to be bother. They want to be alone. They don't want to make friends. They don't care for them being alone.

No Speak English

Living in place where people speak English is hard because. How are the suppose to communicate with other people. How are they suppose to get a job. How are they suppose to tell people if anything thing is wrong with them. How are they suppose to do anything. It's really not hard to do unless. You have someone you know who can help you by. Translating English back into the language that you speak. Moving to a country though that speaks English is hard too because. Everything is different to you too, and you. Don't understand anything at all. Moving here from another country is hard too because. You don't know what to do. You are confused. Everything is different. You are not used to do some of the new things. A lot has changed because in a new country because. New things that you have to do. New people to see. New people to meet. New people to talk too. Doing things that you are not use to do.

Writing Poems

A lot of people these days don't understand the meanings of poems, or better yet. They think to themselves why do people write poems. To me some people write poems because. They are, so use to doing it. They just like to write poems. A lot of people write poems too because. Some people have had stuff happen to them, so. Some of them automatically want to talk, or write about it. A lot of poems have different meanings to them because. Different people have wrote them, and they have. Put the heart into those poems people have read today. People today don't understand what the meaning of poems is because. They have not seen a poem before. It might be something new to them. They might not know what the meaning to a poem is. Poems deal with everyday life because. There is people involved. It's feelings involved. It's emotion involved. Everything around you is made into a poem..

Smart

A lot of people out there that they know everything in the world is because they think that they are, so smart. A lot of people think that is because. They have good grades in school. They pass all of there tests. They do all of there homework, and they turn it in one time. They have never got a failing grade on any test. Most of the smart, annoying people think that they are smarter than everybody, but they are not because. There can be someone always smarter than them. Then those people can't accept that because. They think that they are smarter than everything. Being the smartest person I the world means. You know everything. You are annoying. You have nothing else to prove. You have a lot of famous awards. You are on TV everywhere. You help important people in high places. You even could help the president. You are a important person to the world. You can do anything to help the world.

Saying Goodbye

Saying goodbye to people is one of the hardest things to do in life because. You have been around these people, ever since you were born, and then it comes to that day when something changes your life. It's like when your living around people who grew up around you, and you are there friend, and then you friend, or you find out that you are moving. Goodbye to me is hard because what if. Someone is just becoming your friend. Someone you know has died. Someone who you care about. Someone you are worried about. Someone who you can't live without. I hate saying goodbye to people because. They could be my best friends. They could be close to me. I could never see them again. Something could happen to them. They could be family I will not see for a while. I could see them when I get older. They could move where I live from out of nowhere. I could see them everyday. I could come visit them. I could see them everywhere I go
