PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Horses are amazing animals, and they let people ride them.
I'm going to tell you about the different breeds and part of their history.
Arabians
This horse is a horse known for their attitude. They have a short temper.
Mustangs
The mustang is known for its speed, they are very fast. Mustangs are also the last breed of wild horses left.
Quagga
This horse is extinct, it was hunted heavily for its beautiful fur.
The Quagga is an extinct subspecies of the plains zebra that lived in South Africa until the nineteenth century. It was long thought to be a distinct species, but genetic studies have shown it to be the southernmost subspecies of the plains zebra.
Shetlands
These are small ponies, but they are mighty. These horses were often used for pulling trailers. Now, Shetlands are used for pony rides.
Appaloosas
These horses are spotted and have short mane and tail.
Shire
These horses are built for work
