Bravery of the horses -mostly the horses were brave to go into the war .. But the horses were actually forced to go

• Only a small amount of horses came back
• Almost a million horses died during this time
• They would die from deadly mud or the horses would get shot

WHAT THEY WERE USED FOR

• Horses were used mostly for transportation
• They pulled wagons and different other things
• They carried ammunition
• They also carried dead soldiers
