• The land is very important to grow food.

HOPI CLOTHES

• Hopi women wear moccasins.
• They make their shoes out of bear skin.
• Hopi men do not wear much clothing.
• The men sometimes wear kilts.

HOMES

• The Hopi tribe makes homes out of rock and clay.
• The Hopi tribe use ladders to climb their homes.
• The Hopi tribe has windows so that other tribes won't attack.
• The homes look like apartment buildings.

FOOD

• The Hopi ate beans.
• They ate corn.
• Soup was part of their diet.
• They ate turkey for their meat.
• The Hopi searched for nuts and berries.
