HONEY CAKE

MAKE YOUR QUARANTINE BETTER

You need for a dough:

  • Heat the honey in a water bath
  • Add soda
  • Mix it until the mixture turns white

  • Remove from heat and add water and sugar
  • Mix until sugar dissolves
  • Put back into the water bath and heat for about 15 minutes, until the mixture becomes caramel color

  • Remove from the heat
  • Add butter
  • Stir until it completely dissolved
  • Wait for 15 minutes while it cools

  • When the mixture has cooled, add beaten eggs and mix until smooth
  • Add flour and knead the dough (flour may need a little more)

Divide the dough into 8-10 parts

  • Roll each part thinly
  • Cut off excess

Bake each cake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 6-7 minutes

YOY HEED FOR A CREAM:

Add sour cream and powered sugar

  • Coat the cooled cakes with layers of cream
  • Coat cake with cream
  • Put in the refrigerator

FOR DECOR:

  • Roll out the leftovers and bake
  • Chop it

Cover the cake with crumbs
