  • They settled along rivers such as santa cruz, the salt and gila rivers

WHAT WAS THEIR PRACTICE WITH AGRICULTURE

  • The hohokams grew squash,corn,and beans some people grew cotton
  • They made hundreds of miles of canals to move water

WHAT DID THEIR HOUSING LOOK LIKE.

  • There houses looked like big rocks.
  • There pit houses where square,rectangle or round.
  • The earth keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
  • Later they change there houses into large stories
