What did the Aryan's call their enemies?

Due to the numerous differences, both physically and mentally, the sworn enemy of the aryans were called dasas

What were the Aryan's like?

The Aryan's were not similar to the Dasas at all, they were much taller lighter skin, and they spoke different languages.

Did they have a writing system?

Unlike other locations at that time, the Aryan's didn't develop a writing system.

What was the caste system?


Eventually, the Aryan's developed into four groups based on a persons occupation, first being priest, warriors, traders and land owners, and finally the lowest class peasants and traders. These classes became increasingly strict as they made contact with non Aryan's.

What is varna?

Varna is a color of the skin. And they also used skin color to classify where you were in the caste system.

What does caste mean?

As time passed, explorers from Portugal discovered these groups and they were later (15th century) dubbed castes.

What caste membership determined?

Caste membership determined where you could and would work, who you could marry,and who you could eat with.

What were untouchables?

Tensions between the rigid classes free and as a sequence purity and sanity-ness became a main concern. People who had jobs with messy conditions were outcasted and became the "untouchables".
