The religious leaders are called priests.
HOLI, THE FESTIVAL OF COLOR
- Marks the beginning of spring.
- Is either in March or April.
- Is celebrated by having bonfires and by coloring each other.
DIWALI, THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
- Is celebrated in late October or Early November.
- Is related to knowledge.
- Is also the Hindu New Year.
INTERESTING INFORMATION:
- They believe in reincarnation based off karma.
- There are smaller gods like Vishnu, Krishna, Rama, and Shiva.
- There are many holy writings, the main one is the Vedas.
