Though India, Rome, and China all had patriarchal societies, it was set in stone by law inChina alone. Also, China's way of implementing it was a lot harsher than India or Rome.

In Africa and the Americas, systems of power were the same as power was tribal with one chief. Systems of exchange were also the same with trade being unexistent. In addition, both regions experienced
occasional empires and trading post empires.
