• This symbolizes renewal (of their love).

• Snow represents Scrooge's cold heart.
• The book compares Scrooge to bad weather.
• When he wakes up on Christmas Day, it changes to represent playfulness, happiness, and Christmas cheer.

THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE

• Snow represents evil and the White Witch's control of Narnia
• When Aslan comes back, the snow melts.

THE WOMAN IN BLACK

• There is constantly fog around the lake where the child drowned.
• Fog represents the mystery and tragedy surrounding the death.
