What is Hemophilia?
Hemophilia is a disorder in your blood clotting system in which your blood goes from liquid to a solid state.
There are 3 types of Hemophilia.
Hemophilia A
Hemophilia B
Hemophilia C
Hemophilia A is the most common. It It is caused by the absence of enough clotting factor 8. Clotting factor is the amount of elements in the blood plasma.
Hemophilia B is the second most common type. It is caused by the absence of clotting factor 9.
Hemophilia C is the rarest type, and the hardest to spot. It is caused by lack of clotting factor 11.
There is no way at this point to prevent Hemophilia. It is found most commonly in boys, and men. It comes from your parents' genes.
