BORN, DECEMBER 11, 1803 DIED, MARCH 8, 1869

His dad, Louis-Joseph was a physician. Mom, Marie-Antoinette. Brother, Joseph. Louis, Brother who died at 3 years old. Louis-Juliett who died at 7 years old. Finally, Adele, sister.
He learned how to play the flute and the guitar at age 12, then went on to be an composer
His father wanted him to be a doctor so he was brought to study medicine in Paris at 17 years old and didn’t do very well at the school
He didn’t go to grade school because France was at war.
