PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Lord, who can dwell
in Your tent?
Who can live
on Your holy mountain?
The one who lives honestly, practices righteousness,
and acknowledges the truth
in his heart—
who does not slander
with his tongue,
who does not harm his friend
or discredit his neighbor,
who despises the one rejected by the Lord
but honors those
who fear the Lord,
who keeps his word
whatever the cost,
who does not lend
his money at interest
or take a bribe
against the innocent—
the one who does these things will never be moved.
Help me understand
Your instruction,
and I will obey it
and follow it
with all my heart.
Help me stay on the path of Your commands,
for I take pleasure in it.
Turn my heart to Your decrees
and not to material gain.
Turn my eyes from looking
at what is worthless;
give me life in Your ways.
My son, if you
accept my words
and store up
my commands within you,
listening closely to wisdom
and directing your heart to understanding;
furthermore, if you call
out to insight
and lift your voice
to understanding,
if you seek it like silver
and search for it
like hidden treasure,
then you will understand
the fear of the Lord
and discover
the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
from His mouth
come knowledge
and understanding.
