INTRODUCTION

  • Tea is the second most consumed drink in the world, surpassed only by water. Most teas come from the plant Camellia sinensis
  • Ginger is a hot fragrant spice made from the rhizome of a plant.
  • Ginger tea is an Asian herbal beverage that is made from ginger root. It has a long history as a herbal medicine in Asia.

  • Relieving nausea
  • Fighting respiratory problems
  • Strengthen blood circulation
  • Strengthen immunity
  • Relieve stress

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS OF GINGER

CONTRAINDICATION

  • Ginger may cause allergic reactions and heart burn to some people
  • Ginger may help lower blood pressure, so you might experience lightheadedness as a side effect.
  • Ginger also contains salicylates, a chemical that acts as a blood thinner. This can cause problems for people with bleeding disorders

METHOD

  • Place grated ginger into a cup.
  • Fill to the 1-1/2 cup line with boiling water and set timer for 10 minutes.
  • When timer goes off, strain into a large mug and stir in honey
  • Serve hot
