HEALTHY EATING AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY GOAL

MY GOAL

I WILL RUN A 7 MINUTE MILE

MEASURING MY GOAL

I WILL RUN A MILE 3 DAYS A WEEK AND RECORD MY TIME FOR EACH MILE

THIS GOAL IS MEANINGFUL TO ME BECAUSE...

  • Running is very good for your body.
  • It will help me become a healthier person.
  • It will prevent heart diseases in the future.

THE PLAN

  • I will run a mile 3 days a week.
  • I will try to get 7 minutes by the end of 4 weeks.
  • I will run on Wednesdays because I don't have dance then.
  • I will also run in the morning on the weekends.
  • I will drink at least 4 bottles of water a day to keep hydrated.

TIME-BOUND

  • I will attempt to reach my goal in 4 weeks.
  • The time constraints of the greater Hartford academy of the arts will make it difficult.
  • The time constraints of my dance studio at home will make it difficult.
  • And the time constraints of completing homework will make it difficult.
  • I will devote at least an hour to my goal 3 days a week.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

RUNNING MORE OFTEN WILL HELP ME BECOME MORE PHYSICALLY ACTIVE

HEALTH RISKS

  • I will prevent heart disease.
  • I will prevent type 2 diabetes.
  • I will prevent future obesity.
