RAIDED, KILLED, BURNED DOWN BUILDINGS

HERSCHAL GRYNSZPAN

  • He was a 17 year old Polish Jew
  • His parents were expelled from Germany witthout notice
  • He then went to Paris, France and killed a German Diplomat
  • When that happened The Germans had 15,000 polish jews deported
  • The Jews were sent to the edge of Germany Poland with no food, clothes or water

SUSAN'S STORY

  • Susan was a 15 year old jewish girl
  • She woke up to the sound of her parents screaming
  • Was almost killed by a german soldier
  • She had to sneak out of town with her parents and sister

  • Over 1000 synagogues burned down
  • 100 jewish people killed
  • 30,000 jewish people arrested
  • Glass broken in buildings and homes that had jewish in them
  • People have been scared for life
