What makes Harriet Tubman famous?

Conjecture

I think she is famous for helping slaves escape

Goals

She wanted to save slaves to help them to their freedom

Challenges

  • She was struck by a 2-pound weight which caused a hole in her skull
  • She was a slave herself
  • Slave owners were sending a search party to find her

How she overcame challenges

  • She recovered from the hard weight hit
  • She ranaway to her freedom but she wasn't satisfied so saved other slaves
  • She was only going to her freedom at night so she was not found

Reason she is a hero:
She saved 400 slaves and she made
"The Underground Railroad" and now the US has no slaverey.
