WHO BELIEVES GUN CONTROL IS NECESSARY?

  • Most people believe that our nation should have stricter laws regarding gun control.
  • This includes gun owners themselves.

WHICH SIDE IS CORRECT?

  • The debate between wether gun restrictions should be increased has been around for decades
  • Nobody can truly say wither it is smart or not.

RIGHTS

  • Under the second amendment, it states that one has the right to bear Arms.
  • This is the largest concern from this subject: if one does not qualify for gun ownership, how will they protect themselves?

GUN RELATED CRIME

  • Another issue is that there is not much evidence showing that gun control even decreases crime rates. But upon further research, one can find that it is not always about legal gun availability rather than illegally obtaining guns.

MASS SHOOTINGS

  • A huge dilemma involving guns is the rapid increase of mass shootings including sandy hook and Pulse (Orlando club shooting).
  • Many of these shootings were at the hands of who had mental health issues or involving a severe hatred towards a race gender or religion.

SOLUTION

  • What I'm saying is that these are simple things that need to be taken into consideration when registering someone to hold a potential weapon to kill a person or persons.

CONCLUSION

  • All in all, the threat that guns bring will always be around, mass shootings will always be there. Gun control will not eliminate crimes or homicides, but I do believe that with the fits laws and rules it could decrease these rates significantly.
