QUINEA PIGS

DESCRIPTION

• Guinea pigs can be different colors.
• Brown, grey, white, beige , black and cream
• Guinea pigs can have red or black BEATY eyes
• They can be fuzzy or smooth

HABBITAT

• Guinea pigs are found in south america
• They live in grassy plains, and rocky areas.
• Not to forget human houses (cage)
• Around brazil (leaves)
• In winter they CAN hibernate

HOW IT SURVIVES

• It survives in packs (5 to 10 in pack)
• Guinea pigs teeth keep growing they wear it down by chewing
• If threatend it will stand still like it was dead until the threat is gone.

WHAT IT EATS

• Guinea pigs are vegetarians (dont eat meat)
• They eat hay, berries, grass,apples, Brazil (leaves) and other.
• Ice berg lettuce is poisonous to them.

FUN STUFF

• The average guinea pig is 10 to 14 inch.
• And they can weigh 2 to 3 pounds.
• They dont like water, they dont absolutley like there face WET at all
• Guinea pigs chirp
• Guinea pigs can do handstands!
• Guinea pigs can live up to 8 years
• Male guinea pigs are called boars
• Another name for guineas is cavvies
