  • Slaves can't be on other plantations without permision
  • 10 lashes on slaves bare back
  • Slaves are only one persons property

SLAVE CODE 2

  • Slaves cannot have weapons, only tools
  • No more than 39 lashes, seizer keeps weapons
  • Don't want slaves armed and dangerous

SLAVE CODE 3

  • Slave owners can't keep slaves that aren't theirs
  • $10 each slave
  • Prevent inconvenience
