The basics
The Greek had many different ways of writing numbers.
Some Greeks used the first letter of the number for the number. To make it easier they used special symbols to represent numbers like 50,500, and 5000.

THINGS THE ARE DIFFICULT ABOUT GREEK NUMERATION

  • It's hard at all it is very easy
  • It is very easy to write and remember
