Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon.
Selene is the daughter of the Titans Theia and Hyperion. She had two siblings, Helios the sun god and Eos the goddess of dawn.
Selene fell in love with a mortal named Endymion. Selene had 50 children with him. A spell was cast on him by Zeus to put him in an eternal sleep so he wouldn't die.
Selene also had a daughter named Pandeia after an affair with Zeus.
Selene's symbol is a crescent moon or a chariot drawn by a horse or some oxen. She controls the full moon.
