Appearance
Very Large, powerful owl with prominent ear tufts.
The facial disc is rust-brown to ochre-buff.
The upper parts are brownish.
The outer webs of the primaries are brownish-buff while the inner are much paler.

Food Chain
From high perches they dive down to the grown with winds folded, before snatching prey.
They also hunt by walking on the grown or wading into the water.
Prey may includes owls except snowy owl.
A Great Horned Owl can take 2 or 3 prey at a time.

Habitats
It was first seen in the Virginia Colonies.
They have adapted to many different places and climates.They life mostly in desserts, dense forest and plains to city parks.
The Great Horned owls usaly are nocturnal.

Nesting season only last January to Febuary.
Male does a hoot to signal a female.
Female does a kroo sound to signal a male.
