LOCATION

GRAY FOXES ARE FOUND IN MOST OF NORTH AMERICA

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

  • They have a black tip on their tail
  • They are gray with some red
  • They weigh roughly 3.6 lbs

HABITAT

  • The gray fox is normally found in rock dens or in hollow logs and stumps
  • The are mostly in mountainous forests

FEEDING HABITS

THEY EAT RABBITS, MICE, POULTRY, BIRDS, AND SOMETIMES VEGTABLES

LIFE CYCLE

  • Mate in january
  • 3-5 pups are born in march
  • The family group breaks up in early fall
