BAMBOO IT

  • Our product was designed with the purpose of being a comfortable space for daily routine in the average Indian home.
  • It is designed to be affordable for the average person

BLUEPRINT

DYES IN OUR PRODUCT

  • Low impact dyes are environmentally friendly
  • We used little to no dye in our construction
  • Most environmentally friendly dyes are made from bugs and/or plants
  • Non eco-friendly dyes can be made from resources such as coal and petroleum
  • Eco-friendly dyes are important to preserve and protect our environment and natural resources

FINISHES IN OUR PRODUCT

  • There is two main types of finishes which are mechanical and physical finishes
  • We will only be using the mechanical finish because it is stronger and will make the appearance look better.
  • We will be using the soil release finish which is a type of a mechanical finish because it is used on carpets and we will make a mat.

JOBS THAT DEAL WITH FASHION

  • The careers that took part in our product were fashion designers and merchandising
  • Fabric designers, also known as apparel designers come up with new, creative ideas for garments and accessories.
  • Merchandising is the process in which products are designed, developed, and promoted to the point of sale
  • These involve varying degrees of planning, buying, advertising, and selling.

ELEMENTS OF DESIGN

  • Principles: Balance, Emphasis, Rhythm, and Harmony
  • Elements: Color, Line, Texture, and Shape.
  • All of these combine to create a garment that is visually pleasing

MATH IN OUR PRODUCT

  • We have used mathematics to configure a price that allows us to bring in a profit as well as remain affordable
  • In order for the product to be properly constructed we have used precise measurements to gain a clean finish on the fabric overlay.
