Executive Branch

  • The Executive Branch is the office of the president. Length of term at max is 8 years.The president is elected.Age requirement is 35+ and you must be born in the U.S or U.S territory
  • The powers the Executive Branch has is they can't sent troops and they can also veto checks.

JUDICIAL Branch

  • Judicial Branch is the Supreme Court. Number of members is 9.the members are appointed.
  • Powers the judicial branch is the Supreme Court can reject laws and they can also declare executive action.

THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH

  • The congress has 535 people in the house and the length of term is 2 years and members are elected the age requirement is 25+ citizen ship requirement.
  • The senate has 100 members and the length of term is 6 years,people are appointed the age requirement is 30+ and the citizenship is 9 years.
  • The powers the legislative branch has is they make laws and approve treaties.

  • "Establish justice"Americans wanted to be ruled by laws,not by soldiers or the decisions kings.
  • "Form a more perfect Union"the Americans wanted the states to cooperate with each other and create a strong relationship between the states.

CHECKS AND BALANCES

  • The president can veto bills and the legislative branch can can override vetoes and the Supreme Court can reject laws from the legislative branch and congress can impeach federal judges.
