PRESENTATION OUTLINE

GONORRHEA

BY: HOPE, JASMINE, AND EMMALEIGH

Gonorrhea is a bacteria. This disease is transmitted through unprotected sex with an infected partner. Ejaculation doesn't have to happen to get it. Mothers can give it to their babies during birth.

Gonorrhea is nicknamed "The Clap" because it is short for Clapier. Clapier is French for brothel (where men visit prostitutes). When men would visit the brothel they would contract the bacteria.
