Some interesting facts about golden retrievers is that , golden retrievers were born and bred in Scotland in the 1800’s.

They were first known as the Russian Retrievers.

They are bred for hunting excursions.

THE LIFE CYCLE OF DOGS INCLUDE FOUR STAGES

PUPPY HOOD, ADOLESCENT STAGE , ADULTHOOD, AND SENIOR YEARS.

Golden Retrievers also known as Goldies have different color in coats throughout their life cycle.
From puppy stage their coats change color to their signature color as they grow. They need frequent brushing and occasional baths.

Dogs and goldies live in many different habitats.
From the grasslands, prairies, forests, coastal regions and even arctic zones.

Domestic dogs are omnivores, and depend and get their food from their owners.
They like a variety of dry dog kibble.
Stray dogs have to hunt their prey for their meals.

A Predator for the Goldies is the Coyote.
Because of the coyotes many of dogs and cats go missing each year because of these fierce creatures.
Golden retrievers will defend them selves against predators by growling , barking, and even attacking and biting to defend themselves.
