  • A belief created by Howard Gardner about different learners
  • Gardner believed that everybody learns differently
  • Gardner created different types of learning categories

INTERPERSONAL

  • Definition: People who can easily understand People and their moods
  • Examples: a counseler, an FBI agent, a sales men
  • Their gift: socialization. Interpersonal people can communicate well
  • They are often needed for advice and comfort

INTRAPERSONAL

  • Deffinition: people who are very confortable with being alone
  • Examples: a journalist, an artist, a novelist
  • Their gift: they can figure out their own feelings. They can easily set goals
  • They are often needed for helping others understand themselves

BODILY KINESTHETIC

  • Definition: people who learn best with different types of movement
  • Example: an athlete, an actor, a chef
  • Their gift: these people are often good at performing in front of an audience
  • They are often needed to find out how things work. Hands on experiments

  • Definition: these people are aware of their surroundings
  • Examples: a chess player, an architect, a photogropher
  • Their gift: these people learn well by seeing things drawn out
  • They are often needed for the distance and measurement of places

  • Definition: people often can pick up songs and rythums easialy or can relate to nature
  • Examples: musician, singer, botonistt
  • Their gift: theses people can usually limit peoples voices and find peace
  • They are often needed to Understand nature and (or) music

  • Definition: these people learn best by locical reasoning
  • Examples: a computer programer, a scientist, mathematician
  • Their gift: these people do best with numbers and facts
  • They are often needed for math or science

  • Definition: These people are often good at reading and writting
  • Examples: a writer, a poet, a translater
  • Their gift: languages, reading and writing all come easily to them
  • They are needed for taking notes or sitting through long lectures
