Robert Louis Stevenson He was born in Scotland on 11/13/1850. His family's profession was lighthouse design. He went to college to follow in his family's footsteps but then decided to get into law school which led to wanting to become an author.
He met Fanny Osborne in September 1876 and soon got married in 1880 and stayed together till death. He wrote many short stories along with books through out his life. He often wrote about his trips around the world that he took.
He wrote many books some were humorous and some were adventurous. Some of his best writings were "Tresure Island, Kidnapped, The Black Arrow, and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde."
