Untitled Slide

  • Did you know, Global warming is the increase of Earth's average surface temperature due to greenhouse gases that collect in the atmosphere like a thickening blanket, trapping the sun's heat and causing the planet to warm up

The warnings about global warming have been extremely clear for a long time. We are facing a global climate crisis. It is deepening. We are entering a period of consequences.
- Al Gore

CAUSES OF GLOBAL WARMING

  • Green houses
  • Deforestation
  • Manufacturing and constructioningn
  • Pollution

BIGGEST CONTRIBUTOR TO GLOBAL WARMING

  • The biggest contributor to global warming is electricity. Humans benefit. Humans use burning fossil fuels for electricity and heat is, by far, the main driver of climate change.

CHINA'S EFFECTS ON GLOBAL WARMING

  • Pollution is a huge part of global warming
  • China is a huge contributor to climate change, they're responsible for 10% of the change
  • In China alone, more than 1.6 million people, die from air pollution
  • People have to wear mask to keep out the harsh air

OZONE LAYERS OF EARTH

  • The pollution of the world has a big affect on Earth
  • The pollution breaks down the ozone layers, which lets more heat in from the sun
  • And it will have a bigger affection the future
  • If we don't stop polluting we won't have much time left on Earth

WITNESS STORY

  • Global warming affects many people
  • For instance, a farmer will have a hard time due to plant stress and select different hybrids to handle the temperature
  • That will reduce the agriculture production
