PRESENTATION OUTLINE

RELIGION
the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.

I chose this picture of a church. I chose it because most people practice religion in a church or a synagogue or another designated place.

TENET
a principle or belief, especially one of the main principles of a religion or philosophy.

One tenet of the Christian religion is the theory that Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross. So I chose this picture of Jesus on the cross to represent the Christian theory.

MONOTHEISM
the doctrine or belief that there is only one God.

I chose this picture because it is showing that there is only one god coming from above not different gods.

POLYTHEISM
the belief in or worship of more than one god.

I chose this picture because it is showing all of the gods coming together and that there are many different god.

ATHEISM
disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods.

I. Hose this picture because they think that there is no god and this picture is showing that all the religions are wrong and saying that there is no god.

AGNOSTICISM
a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God.

I chose this picture because they do not have a strong belief toward either side so I chose a pic of someone in the middle of two groups, believers and not believers.

THEISM
belief in the existence of a god or gods, especially belief in one god as creator of the universe, intervening in it and sustaining a personal relation to his creatures.

I chose this picture because it represents that this woman is following god and worshiping him.
