Startups

  • UX design is crucial
  • Flatter structure
  • Short release cycles
  • Business model?
  • Funded? Risky nonetheless
The first UX/design hire for a startup is crucial as that person can really help shape the UX direction of the company. Startups are a great place to work if there is an opportunity to work with someone very seasoned who is willing to take you under their wings.

The Portfolio Handbook
