Introduction This project tests whether or not certain microbial growth happens more in certain environments. I tested nine different environments, and each one is unique. They each have different sizes and sometimes shapes. I want to be a microbiologist when I grow up, so for me this a very interesting subject. I'm here to show you a few environments I have charted and tested.
Conclusion My hypothesis was that yes, different environments would yield different microbial colonies. In fact, no different environments do not necessarily have different colonies. the rooms that I charted and tested show that the majority of the plates have the same type of colony, though maybe in different areas of the plat and a certain number of that kind. I think this turned out like it did because the rooms are all in the same bigger environment, the house. So, naturally, with all the same people living in the house, some of the colonies might be the same.
