How Climate & Terrain Effect People

  • The climate/terrain we live in has a direct effect on our psychological & physical health. The people of Sudan have adapted to living in the harsher desert like landscape where there is less abundance of water. In Georgia, we are adapted to a mellower climate with more water and plenty of vegetation.

Conflict in Darfur

  • The war & conflict in Darfur has accelerated environmental degradation sue to the significant population growth from the camps. The growth results in overgrazed land, limited resources & conflict from competing for the resources that are available.
