DAILY LIFE

  • Winters were harsh and Summers were brutal, therefore, water was valuable
  • Since people in Greece were born in high elevations then they would be used to it

WARFARE

  • war became a natural way of life for the Greeks. At one moment, city states were battling each other
  • But then when they became invaded they would come together
  • Used mountains for archers

TRADE

  • the land is fertile and provided crops and natural resources for trading purposes.
  • Since Greece was located by the sea it was easy for them to trade with anyone

FLAT LAND

  • Greece is flat around and near the borders and on the coastline.
  • It made it easier to farm and grow crops on the flatland

  • It is mountainous in central Greece and the northern border
  • The mountains made it hard to farm
  • But they help as a natural border
  • Used it in war

  • Since the Greeks lived by the sea they had an easy source of food
  • And in some areas they could farm

  • I think that history and geography should be thought together
  • Since geography helps us learn about the land and how people used it to their advantages
