DOHNEY BEACH

• A beach in Dana Point, California and one of the dirtiest beaches in CA.
• 57% of tests taken exceeded the daily maximum bacteria standards.

Wisconsin's south shore beach

• 39% of tests taken there exceeded the state's bacteria limits.

ONTARIO BEACH

• Out of 270 water samples, 30% exceeded the state's bacteria levels.
• These beaches are all harmful to MOST marine life.
• If you swam in the wrong spot in some of these waters you could catch some nasty stomach viruses or get throat damage.

You can make a difference by picking up just a tiny piece of trash. You could save animals. I know that everything would be better if we could all enjoy a nice sunset

Heal the bay
This is a non profit organization that is focused on cleaning Santa Monica Beach. They have made a day dedicated to cleaning it,"Coastal Clean Up Day."
They also have an event called, "Nothing But Sand."This event happens the 1st Saturday of September every year.
