COLORBLINDNESS

  • The name of the disorder that I am researching is
  • Colorblindness
  • The catagory it falls under is color deficiency

SYMPTOMS

  • One symptom is trouble seeing colors and the brightness of colors
  • Another symptom is you cant tell colors apart

INHERITED

  • The disorder is inherited by each parent having the disorder on the X chromosomes
  • The disorder is a recessive trait
  • The chromosome that the disorder is located on is the X chromosome
  • The population that the disorder is mostly effected on is males.
  • There are no enviromental influences for Colorblindness

TREATMENTS

  • There are no current treatments for Colorblindness but there are special
  • contact lenses and glasses that they make for treatments but most people
  • find them to confuse them than help them.
  • For non-inherited colorblind people and you get colorblindness mostly if they
  • treat the problem your eyes will go back to normal.
