The name of the disorder that I am researching is
Colorblindness
The catagory it falls under is color deficiency
3.
SYMPTOMS
One symptom is trouble seeing colors and the brightness of colors
Another symptom is you cant tell colors apart
4.
INHERITED
The disorder is inherited by each parent having the disorder on the X chromosomes
The disorder is a recessive trait
The chromosome that the disorder is located on is the X chromosome
The population that the disorder is mostly effected on is males.
There are no enviromental influences for Colorblindness
5.
TREATMENTS
There are no current treatments for Colorblindness but there are special
contact lenses and glasses that they make for treatments but most people
find them to confuse them than help them.
For non-inherited colorblind people and you get colorblindness mostly if they
treat the problem your eyes will go back to normal.
