The Venus Rosewater Dish is the Ladies' Singles Trophy awarded at The Championships, Wimbledon since 1886. Rosewater dishes were used in England to catch rosewater poured over the hands to wash them after eating. The award was made in 1864, and is a copy from a pewter original in the Louvre.
