THE LIFE OF GALILEO

THE BEGINNING

• I did Galileo, the father of the scientific method.
• He was born on February 15,1564 in the town of Pisa, Italy.
• At 10 years of age he moved to Florence, Italy. Where he grew up.
• Galileo was never married.

SCHOOL

• Galileo went back to Pisa to go to Pisa University.
• There he studied medications but that got boring quickly to him.
• One day he passed the math room during a debate.
• He heard all the excitement and immediately wanted to join.

STANDING UP

• One characteristic of Galileo was his confidence.
• However he did get in trouble with this one trait.
• He wrote a book about the earth which was against his religion.
• His beliefs got him put on house arrest, but he didn't care, he kept writing.
• Later he became blind and died January 8,1642:(

• Galileo's famous for inventing the scientific method, and improving the telescope.
• When he wasn't working he went to church a lot.
• His famous inventions were the scientific method and the law of pendulum.
• He really helped us in science because of the scientific method.

TIME LINE

• 1581: Galileo goes to Pisa university for med school.
• 1585: Galileo finished collage and decided to teach.
• 1592: Galileo decided to go back to collage.(university of Padua)
• 1609: Galileo spent time on improving the telescope.
• 1632: Galileo wrote a book that his religion didn't agree with.
