PRESENTATION OUTLINE

FUELS

By: Elle

Coal
Advantages: Provides Electricity that's reliable, Inexpensive of all the fuels, Can be safely stored.
Disadvantages: Burns unclean, harmful to the environment because of waste, takes up a lot of land for factories to burn coal.

Oil
Advantages: For Transportation, Produced Easily, Easy Availability
Disadvantages: Water Pollution, Released carbon Dioxide, Very Nonrenewable

Natural Gas:
Advantages: Burns clean, Non toxic, Very Reliable
Disadvantages: Creates Green House, Can be dangerous, Non- Renewable

ALTERNATIVE FUEL

Solar Energy
Advantages: Is all free, Last Forever, Doesn't cause Pollution.
Disadvantages: Doesn't work at night, Large land areas, Replaced often.

Wind Energy
Advantages: Less Space taken up, Great resource to generate, Very Effective.
Disadvantages: Not blowing all the time, Very expensive, Not a lot of energy.

Hydroelectric Power
Advantages: Means Clean and cheap energy, Improves the air we breathe, Produced on a constant rate.
Disadvantages: Kills Water life, Limited use, Extremely Expensive.

Biomass Energy
Advantages: Reduce Landfill, Very Useful in a lot of ways, Clean energy
Disadvantages: Consumes More fuel , Requires lands, Harmful

Geothermal Energy
Advantages: Available all the time, No other fuel required, Not a lot of land required
Disadvantages: Risky to dig, Dangerous Gas, Hard to find the right place
