INTERPRETATION OF THE PAINTING
Why go to war if you can fix it in a peaceful way. This just shows that nobody wins in a war, there would always be casualties. Winning a war wont prove that you are the strongest. It means that your a coward because you solve your problems through violence than a more peaceful manner with less casualties or deaths. And nobody wins in a war because there would be a lot of human casualties and many people would suffer because of their loss. War doesn't just affect the people involved but also the animals and environment we live in.
INTERPRETATION OF THE POEM
Even though the common men are financially troubled they still have every single right to their own voice and to be treated equally. Even if they wont let them have their independence they should dispose of the inferior status.
