REGIN OF TERROR (SEPTEMBER 1793 - JULY 1794)
Many people died, they were being arrested and thought to be enemies of the French.j

EXECUTION OF MARIE ANTOINETTE (OCTOBER 16, 1793)
Accused of meddling with the government and giving her husband bad advice.
This gave the people some say in the government and who should run it.

THE STORMING OF THE BASTILLE (JULY 14, 1789)
The citizens gained more power from the king and the soldiers.

SEPTEMBER MASSACRES (SEPTEMBER 1792)
Members of the legislative assembly gave up the idea of a limited monarchy.
France won a battle against the Austrians and the Prussians.

EXECUTION OF LOUIS XVI (JANUARY 21, 1793)
The King was not nice to his people, they had him sentenced to treason.
This gave the people a say in the government and who runs it.

THE DECLARATION OF RIGHTS OF MAN (AUGUST 27, 1789)
The Third Estate got rights equal to the other estates.
This was the first time the French had equal power.

THE WOMANS MARCH TO VERSAILLES (OCTOBER 1789)
The women demanded Louis XVI to come back to Paris and he listened to them.
The women gained more attention from the country and they gained more power and respect.
