EVENT #1: THE STORMING of the bastille

  • This event occurred on July 14th,1789.
  • This impacted the French Revolution because it initiated the Revolution and gave the French people realization that they could fight the authorities.

EVENT #2: THE DECLARATION of the RIGHTS OF MAN

  • This event happened in the August of 1789
  • This impacted the French Revolution because it helped transition from monarchical rule

Event #3: The Women's March on Versailles

  • This march occurred in the October of 1789
  • This march symbolized a change of power and ended the kings independence.

Event #4: September Massacres

  • These massacres occurred in September of 1792.
  • The September massacres was the final act that overthrew the monarchy

Event #5: The Execution of Marie Antoinette

  • This execution occurred on October 16th 1793
  • This event impacted the revolution because it really brought down the monarchy.It also showed King Louis that they were not bluffing

Event #6: The Execution of King Louis XVI

  • This event happened on January 21st, 1793.
  • This event impacted the F.R. because it changed people minds about the revolution and almost everyone turned anti-monarchy after Louis was convicted with treason!

Event #7: Reign of Terror

  • This event occurred from September 5th 793
  • This event impacted the French Revolution because it caused a lot of fear of French citizens and was known as very brutal.This caused chaos.
