  • The French Revolution standed for equality, liberty, and fraternity
  • The French Revolution announced the ending of monarchy and establishment of the French Republic

WHAT MADE THE FRENCH START THE FRENCH REVOLUTION

  • The inequality between the rich and poor classes growing with dissatisfaction of the feudal systems

WHO STARTED THE FRENCH REVOLUTION

  • Before the French Revolution, the French were divided into social classes called “Estates” The Estates were based off the rich and poor
  • A man named Napoleon Bonaparte was a French statesman and military leader and lead the French Revolution. He did campaign during the French Revolution

WHEN DID THE FRENCH REVOLUTION ASK FOR ALLIES

  • From 1790 to 1794, the French Revolution became radical
  • After the French King Louis XVI was executed on January 21, 1793 war between France, Great Britain and Spain

HOW WAS THE FRENCH REVOLUTION AND AMERICAN REVOLUTION DIFFERENT?

  • The American Revolution was battles and wars against the British for independence
  • The French Revolution who should rule. They killed their king, queen, and nobles to let everyone now that they’d wanted liberty, equality and fraternity

  • It also became radical by suspicious noble leaders and the king
