Slide Notes

For those who weren't here last time we talked about fragments and how each of us is a product of the people, encounters and moments we've experienced along the way for better or worse.

We asked ourselves what fragment would we like young people to take from their encounters with us today?

Well today, let's ask a different question. What fragments did one of the students leave with you?

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Thinking of framents

For those who weren't here last time we talked about fragments and how each of us is a product of the people, encounters and moments we've experienced along the way for better or worse.

We asked ourselves what fragment would we like young people to take from their encounters with us today?

Well today, let's ask a different question. What fragments did one of the students leave with you?

Leaders

In these moments, the aim is to truly lead one another. Creating moments of reflections. Breaking pieces off the day and creating fragments we can keep and remember.

However, our desire for community transformation means listening beyond the noise of the classrooms and the clatter of education. To listen out for those moments when children discover their greatness. To remember that we are all leaders.

For you, I know that these things already ring true.

This probably is the definition of 'preaching to the choir'.

But it's worth simply remembering again. Don't you think?
