FOSSIL FUELS

BY CRYSTAL RODRIGUEZ

INTRODUCTION

FOSSIL FUELS ARE USED IN EVERYDAY LIFE YOU WILL FINE OUT HERE!

HOW IS THIS TECH WORK?

  • Coal is a form of fossil fuel
  • When coal is burnt it makes thermal energy
  • Then it's converts to kenetic energy

HOW COULD THIS ENERGY SOURCE BE USED?

  • Fossil fuels are used in cars
  • Coal can give off heat
  • Fossil fuel are used for airplanes
  • Fossil fuel are used for power electricity plants too!

WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF ITS CURRENT USE

  • 1 use, is oil well
  • 2 use, coal
  • 3 use, gas pumps

WHAT EFFECT DOES IT HAVE ON THE ENVIORMENT

  • It can cause heavy pollution to the air and water
  • it can cause global warming
  • 98% of US energy is from fossil fuel
  • The U.S. consumes more than 20 million barrels of oil per day! That's a lot

IS THIS TECH WIDELY ACCEPTED TODAY?

  • yes because, it's a renewable source of the world
  • It can be accepted because, it makes energy
  • It burns coal and makes kenetic energy
  • And it's used for lots of things in everyday life

POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE TO ITS USE

  • Negative, coal can burn and cause massive air pollution
  • Positive, can be used for cars,gas,oil,etc...
  • Negative, high levels of carbon
  • Negative, it's nonrenewable
