  • Ex: sun, visible light, UV, radio waves, x-rays, etc.

  • Powered by electricity
  • Ex: lighting, blender, TV, vacuum, toaster, static electricity, etc.

ELECTRICAL/STATIC ENERGY

  • The static electricity caused by the balloon rubbing against hair caused the hair to follow the balloon up

MECHANICAL ENERGY

  • Produced by moving objects
  • Ex: windmill, paddle boat, hammering a nail, etc.

SOUND

  • Vibrating particles
  • Ears pick up vibration(sound)
  • Ex: ripple in water, strings vibrating, etc.

  • Heat is caused when particles collide
  • Causes convection, conduction, and radiation
