SLIDING FRICTION

  • When a Quarterback slides to get a first down.
  • This stops the Quarterbacks movement.

ROLLING FRICTION

  • When the ball is fumbled.
  • Makes the ball roll away.

FLUID FRICTION

  • Running the football.
  • The air slows the player down.

BALANCED FORCES

  • Two people equal size go up against eachother.
  • They don't move because they are equal forces.

UNBALANCED FORCES

  • A little guy goes up against a bigger guy.
  • The bigger guy has more force than the little guy.

  • The pushing sled.
  • It has a larger mass so it takes 5 players.

MOTION/REFERENCE POINT

  • The football is in motion compaered to the feild goal.
